Amor, Amor..

We'll its been an emotional week.. 2 of our labmates, Ruth and Amor went back to their respective countries -- Canada and Spain. We're gonna miss them, really. Had our dinner yesterday at La Toscana last night. It was quite a posh restaurant but that wasnt the main subject.. it was meant to be a farewell party for Amor and Ruth; it's served its purpose. Ruth kind of broke down.. afterall, she's spent probably years here. For Amor, she's just like us, students here for internship.. yeah. We're probably closer to Amor because she talks quite abit to us whenever we're at the lab.. kinda had fun with her around and yeah, im sure the lab's gonna be not as joyful without them around. Anyways here am I wishing the both of them all the best, and do take care lots.. missing you all man. :(

After that, it was simply pub-hopping. quite an interesting activity here.. well, at least its really common over here. but i dont know about Singapore though.. haha.

Puff Daddy's - I'll be missing you (all). :D

Luther Vandross' - "Dance With My Father"

Back when I was a child, before life removed all the innocence
My father would lift me high and dance with my mother and me and then
Spin me around 'til I fell asleep
Then up the stairs he would carry me
And I knew for sure I was loved
If I could get another chance, another walk, another dance with him
I’d play a song that would never, ever end
How I'd love, love, love
To dance with my father again
When I and my mother would disagree
To get my way, I would run from her to him
He'd make me laugh just to comfort me
Then finally make me do just what my mama said
Later that night when I was asleep
He left a dollar under my sheet
Never dreamed that he would be gone from me
If I could steal one final glance, one final step, one final dance with him
I'd play a song that would never, ever end
'Cause I'd love, love, love
To dance with my father again
Sometimes I'd listen outside her door
And I'd hear how my mother cried for him
I pray for her even more than me
I pray for her even more than me
I know I'm praying for much too much
But could you send back the only man she loved
I know you don't do it usually
But dear Lord she's dying
To dance with my father again
Every night I fall asleep and this is all I ever dream.

It's a very touching song that I've managed to play from the pile of collection that I have in my computer. Well, to me it means a whole lot more than to dance with my father. It tells one to cherish their loved ones, before everything gets too late. I wouldn't know how much it means to each and every or anyone of you, but hey, you wouldnt wanna regret, would you?. Did I sort of repeat this post?

Cheers & good night, peeps.

Now, i guess im almost over you? hmmm....

Now....... I'm in the mood for love(songs). muahaha.

Rod Stewart - First cut is the deepest.

Well, how's everybody there? if anyone would have been reading this entry, can they come up ahead to text me in my MSN? that would be great, won't it? hehh.. anyway, i just caught this movie (on my laptop) Catch Me If You Can and i found it superb. how in the world could i have missed such a great movie?! see, when everything gets so stressed up you'll just miss out on the things that are happening around you, aint it? its true. right now im just in this little apartment of my flat. im playing some really nice classics by Rod Stewart. guys, if you havent heard of him, you've just missed out on a really really great singer of all time. shammme. These songs live in me, yeah. they're in it.. flowin.. i guess im just.. like that? and.. oh my gosh, its already 0020hrs over here. my weekend's been great. had a walk in the china town of Newcastle. im suggesting to call it China Street, though. in fact, this "town" is made up of an alley with shops next to and opposite to one another. Well well, how's your weekend, then?

People, take some time out of all the craps in life.. and it's time to spend some quality time to.. anyone you would like to.. or even yourself(just like what im doing) .. yeah?

Brushing all relaxations aside, its true we must too get serious with the work that we are assigned to. so ive made this decision, to really, work hard. and, to really, play hard. yeah..

Heading to Rome, Venice and Milan in a matter of weeks, this summer holiday. I'll be expecting a fruitful week over.

Okay, that's all of the updates i'll be giving for now. enjoy the night with a little kiss of classic songs? . and probably ask someone like this... "Fancy a dance?"muahah. im kiddin on that part alright..take care.

Cheers

suddenly, i have this feeling that i should get into track and not be steered away from what is supposed to be my long-term goal. yes, i'm going to do just that. get steered back on track, step on this big accelerating machine and speed upwards, only upwards. i'll climb, higher and higher. nothing's going to deter me. for i will stand up and brush aside all other obstacles that i see in front of me. i WILL, stand strong.

do the climb, search the success. :)

Happy Mother's Day, mum!
hey, made a trip to Durham today. it was simply awesome. we went there like early in the mornin' around 9am yeah.. and well, visited the Durham Castle & Cathedral. they were like having a service going on when we went into the Church. Im guessing that they were having a Holy Communion the time we were inside because judging by each of the people in there were holding a candle? yeah, thought so. took some pics with my friend's camera after that. will probably have them uploaded once i get hold of them. yeah. anyways, after visiting the Castle, we went down to the market to shop around. the shops were about the same as the ones from Newcastle, so it was actually quite an identical experience. the only WEIRD experience was.. the frequency of the rain over here. it supposedly "rained" four times today! it went raining for 5 seconds and then it stopped, this went of for another three times i think... and after each, the weather turned colder and we were actually feeling the chill, even AFTER winter. my goodness.
what really surprised me was that, the final occurence of the rain.. IT WAS ICE FALLING FROM THE SKY.. ! i was like "my goodness, what is going on? were they ice that i saw coming down from the sky?" true enough, it was. and its quite big in size! my friend then told me that it was a Hailstorm going on. i didnt have a clue what Hailstorm's suppose to be then, but now i do. haha.. -- window shopping -- .... took the GNER back to Newcastle.

That's basically it!

hmm, had nothing to do and so i decided to gave my lil blog a lil update on the lil stuffs in this lil life.. its been almost 4 weeks since ive got here. time really flies -- a fact that no one can deny. i still remember how the guys and the gals were like 4 weeks ago. i really hope and wish that they'll remain the same, if not better. life's been a little off paced ever since i came here. it felt as if i've plunged into this really big messy little life that's got me moving slower than i usually do. haha.. i have no idea why. well, the one thing that's for sure is probably because of the same routine that getting me going all these while. i need a change in my "lifecycle".

Anyway, its Spring time! its really evident because ive started seeing trees from bare, they've started bearing leaves and fruits and it's totally picturesque. well, i start seeing flies and mosquitoes too.. which i dont see during Winter times. lol. the weather's getting better by the day and i'm starting to love the cool breeze over here. its simply amazing.

the Sun sets only at about 9 - 9.30pm! which means i usually have a really long day. this also means that Summer is approaching like every other inevitable Season.

true enough, there's a Season for everything.
