Well, just getting a little curious on how this thing works.

i guess alot of things are just meant to be. it's been months since i last updated this blog. because life as a cadet certainly doesnt permit, especially when you get outfield exercises one after another, back to back. but now, here i am again, free and easy. why? because i just got out-of-course. yeah, its my knee. doctor said it was a meniscal tear, and i can't continue. i guess that's about it. it's been about a month already. the pain has subsided but i know there's still a problem with it because i still can't get back my full range of motion. im going to see the specialist again on the 18th, we'll see how it goes. but it might be a surgery, from what i know.

ive given a thought on recoursing, but... i wont be able to do so until i regain full fitness. giving up officership certainly has been tough. i took a long time before making such a decision. but you know, it's my life we're talking about. i missed all the times we had together. the 66/06. it couldnt have been any better. you guys rocks. it's been an irony, because a week before i was put out of course, i got my platoon best plaque. i thought it could be my driving force to keep me going. but the doctor said no. it's harmful to me in the long run. and yes, i havent regretted making this decision. because afterall, i know my worth. this is how far i have walked.

im sorry guys, but .. we can't commission together anymore.

Again, I'm back. you know what? I read about my friend's life and i realise something in common about Singapore. It's so fast-paced. Of course it's good in some sense but it's got its fair share of cons.

Life in there isn't any different. we do things so fast that sometimes we do not even have time to catch a breather. i guess it's a little bad for a learning environment. but no one actually cares.

I'm having this morale fluctuation thing going on in me. I guess all my mates do feel it that way too. well well. Life goes on.

240+ days to the great day.

Hey guys, Merry Xmas and a Happy year 2007!

I know this came abit too late for the Xmas.. but well. I didn't have time to update my stuffs man.

I know alot is at stake. I know the sacrifice is humongous. But since I'm at it, I need to look forward to it.

It's been a long time, I guess im missing the civillian life out there. Friends, its time all you people motivate me to keep me going because i dont know how long i can last.

I think i can. If i stop thinking about it. But if there's something good to look forward to in bunk, I'll be glad. not for now. so, i shall continue searching for that something good.

life as a cadet isnt great at all, we all go through turnouts. its driving me nuts. well well, time to book in now.. Happy 2007, i hope.

5th of December 2006 - The day I graduated as a Private. I will always remember.

Today, I got news of my posting.

It was as expected, although not the one that I wanted. I was, to a little extent, down.

We had our platoon gathering at Marina Steamboat. Everyone had loads of fun simply having dinner, chatting with our bunk mates and playing pool.

Then Sir gave a piece of advice to us, which I think have really brought me to another level of maturity.

I guess whatever that was given to us, we should accept it. We should too give our very best and endure the pain that, undoubtedly, is going to come to us, whether physically or mentally.

Just like the yam-seng we always do. I will always do my very best. Gotta live up to it.

To all my platoon/bunk mates, we all went through tough times together. we all made it. looking ahead, to many of us, we've got a greater mountain to climb. let us all do it once again. be it with or without the same mates we have. what's important is the journey. let's all enjoy it and not sulk about it. we will always do our very best!

To my commanders, you all deserve all the credit that we are here. i could not think of a better idea to thank you guys enough. but, you all have been great. respect.

i shall not sulk. we must all pull through.
