renewing the faith
in life you'll have many friends and relatives.. they all are like the stars shining brightly and you are the sky. they keep you twinkling brightly throughout your whole lives. it's just too unfair and selfish to say that without your girl or boyfriends, your life will be finished. instead, look on the bright side. at times you will twinkle alone..but.. without one star, there are still many other stars shining brightly for you. so whenever u think its the end, i will be there to add that glow for you.. and always know that someone in this world loves you. :D
- to life, and my uncle.
i can say i miss you dearly. i dont know why but im not used to losing a loved one just like that. you know it's been 3 years since you've been gone. i dont know if ive turned a better person. i guess we all make mistakes one way or another. i just hope that we'll learn from them. maybe, just maybe one fine day, i'll turn into that person that i wish that i am.
you shouldnt have done that.
sometimes i just wish for a perfect family. but i guess wishes might not be true. not in this lifetime. dont ask me about the next.

good news, people. my medical review came out. it was a positive result. it also means that i have a fairly high chance of going back into course. well, these few months have been quite slack in terms of fitness and discipline.
im sure the good news would have gotten me back into the mood of training hard and fighting for the best swords again. okay, not exactly about being best. but being able to excel in everything i do. it's part of an officer's motto afterall, isn't it?
all of a sudden, i felt quite relieved and the feeling of raring to go certainly gave me the extra push this time round. im sure im going to practice much more caution this time round.
i dont know whether physiotherapy worked for me, but i did my own physio work based on how i felt. i guess all these running and gym trainings are going to be put into good use again.
in a matter of weeks, my friends are going to commission. they are going to be 2LTs. holding much more responsibilities, leading their men out to the battlefield. i sincerely wish them all the best in what they do. the 9 months of gruelling training has finally paid off for them. it certainly isn't easy, trust me on that. afterall, ive been through 4 of the worse months in it.
funny how i felt so chatty today. it's probably i havent updated for eons. well well, im still talking about army. i know this sucks but my life is revolving around army these days and u can't blame me for that. yeah.
it's weird that my blog was noticed by a particular person. i didnt even publish it elsewhere. funny funny. but anyways, i hope you got entertained. =D

i guess alot of things are just meant to be. it's been months since i last updated this blog. because life as a cadet certainly doesnt permit, especially when you get outfield exercises one after another, back to back. but now, here i am again, free and easy. why? because i just got out-of-course. yeah, its my knee. doctor said it was a meniscal tear, and i can't continue. i guess that's about it. it's been about a month already. the pain has subsided but i know there's still a problem with it because i still can't get back my full range of motion. im going to see the specialist again on the 18th, we'll see how it goes. but it might be a surgery, from what i know.
ive given a thought on recoursing, but... i wont be able to do so until i regain full fitness. giving up officership certainly has been tough. i took a long time before making such a decision. but you know, it's my life we're talking about. i missed all the times we had together. the 66/06. it couldnt have been any better. you guys rocks. it's been an irony, because a week before i was put out of course, i got my platoon best plaque. i thought it could be my driving force to keep me going. but the doctor said no. it's harmful to me in the long run. and yes, i havent regretted making this decision. because afterall, i know my worth. this is how far i have walked.
im sorry guys, but .. we can't commission together anymore.

Again, I'm back. you know what? I read about my friend's life and i realise something in common about Singapore. It's so fast-paced. Of course it's good in some sense but it's got its fair share of cons.
Life in there isn't any different. we do things so fast that sometimes we do not even have time to catch a breather. i guess it's a little bad for a learning environment. but no one actually cares.
I'm having this morale fluctuation thing going on in me. I guess all my mates do feel it that way too. well well. Life goes on.
240+ days to the great day.
